Mini-SAR gets its first mapping cycle in mid-January; it lasts about a month.  After that, we will have complete mosaics of both poles.  Three months later, we get another month&#039;s worth of mapping.  After those two cycles, we should have complete coverage of sufficient quality to see if any areas in the permanent dark regions are interesting.  Stay tuned.</description>
