		<description>Dear Smithsonian folks,
Hello, I am Akiko Niizeki of JAXA Public Affairs Office, in charge of ISS website.
We are really glad to find your article about one of our space experiments, Medaka Osteoclast, whose principal Investigator is Prof. Akira Kudo.
Let me tell you the latest status about Medaka fish aboard the Kibo. Our astronaut, Aki Hoshide completed the Chemical fixation of the Medaka fish, that will be brought back to the Earth aboard Soyuz spacecraft(31S) with Aki himself next week. The remaining 10 Medaka fish has been moving actively inside aquarium. They seem to be really cheerful.
JAXA will continue to post various photos and videos as soon as they will get authorized by our animal ethics board.
Therefore, we hope your continuous interest and cooperation.
If you have any question, please feel free to contact me any time.
Thank you for your interest again.

Just as your reference, our website to inform the status of Medaka are as follows;
