Sikorsky Wants to Pick Your Brain
AND the company will pay you for the privilege, with a year’s worth of shop space, resources, mentorship and development aid in the Sikorsky Innovation Center in Stamford, Connecticut. All you have to do is submit a winning proposal, by March 30, on an innovation related to vertical-flight technology. Says Marianne Heffernan, Sikorsky Aircraft communications manager, proposals could easily come from people “who don’t even realize they have a technology…relevant to the rotorcraft arena.”
Details are here.
And fine-print stuff is here.

With lots of software controlling quadcopters / tri copters and even twin electric copters in the RC world I would like to develop a quad type looking copter on the lines of the Puffin goal of personal flight envelope. Should be capable of vertical takeoff and landing via softeware interface to assist pilot on critical aspects of the two critical areas of vertical flight. Capable of at least 90 min of flight and if possible electric. Fuel Cell maybe or the new batteries being tested by Darpa.
